The first release of a barrel-aged version of our perennial cool weather release. The strong ale went into barrels in 2015 and was bottled in September 2016.
Upon pouring, you will be greeted by a boozy nose of dates, raisins and red apple is complimented by light wood aromas and a touch of vanilla. The palate of this huge beer boasts molasses, brown sugar and maple syrup flavors and a drying, tannic finish from extensive aging in white oak bourbon barrels.
