Collaboration with 3Sons Brewing.
For this stout we smashed both of our imperial stout recipes together and aged it for 18 months in Elijah Craig, Weller, and Willet bourbon barrels. Once blended back together we aged it on toasted almonds, cocoa nibs, cinnamon, and Mexican vanilla beans. The barrel heat and charr play off the spice from the cinnamon and vanilla and accentuate the chocolate and almond notes.
