“When we lay our stouts to rest in oak barrels, each one embarks on a unique journey of evolution. Atmospheric changes, time, and the structure of each barrel filled will all have distinct impacts on the final product, with each one adding to the subtle nuance that builds the larger whole. For this series, we select from our most distinguished casks the liquid that speaks the loudest and that we believe are best showcased to feature the unique flavors from each barrel without any additional adjuncts.
Blend of imperial stouts aged 4 years in Heaven Hill and 2 years in double oaked Jim Beam barrels.”

“Barleywine aged 15 mo in Pedro Ximenez Sherry. Our single-malt, barleywine base, Intent, spent two years sequestered away in this PX sherry barrel, in that time taking on characteristics of both spirit and oak. Expect flavors of muscat grape, warming sherry, soft vanilla and subtle but substantial oak tannin. It’s beautifully structured showcasing characteristics of age and youth at the same time.”
