The bourbon is aged for a minimum of 12 years in virgin American oak casks, maturing in Warehouse Z of the Barton Distillery estate. Its mash bill contains a high percentage of rye (estimated to be between 15-25%) and remains undisclosed.
At 96.6 proof, this outstanding whiskey boasts a rich aroma of caramel, vanilla, toffee candy, oak, and golden honey. The palate offers a complex interplay of roasted spices, walnuts, oak, and subtle sweetness, with a delicate touch of bitterness and a dry finish. This cherished dram is a superb example of the acclaimed 1792 Barton Distillery's craftsmanship.
