This Double Barrel Aged Blackberry Mead is a tribute to Heavy Cohesion, one of our earliest and most beloved homebrew experiments. It’s sticky, jammy, and carries the perfect oak influence that only patience can unlock.Barrel Journey:• 6 months in a Blackberry Brandy barrel.• Followed by 12 months in a Zinfandel barrel that previously held B1 Proper Black and Harmonic Intervals.Now with vanilla. 

1 bottle of Pips ObscureObscure is our Blueberry Mead with Vanilla aged in a used barrel from our friends at Toppling Goliath. Much like "Fade", this mead uses a lighter touch of Vanilla to help lend a creaminess to the body. It also serves to accentuate the chocolate-like notes from the barrel's previous life. This mead finishes with a slightly tannic and more drying finish, with bursts of blueberry, vanilla, chocolate, tobacco, and toasted nut.
