Aging Process: Aged for a full year in retired spirit barrels from distilleries like Heaven Hill and Woodford Reserve.
Sensory Description Appearance: Pours a near-opaque, deep dark brown or stout black with a creamy, persistent beige or light tan head.
Aroma: Features rich scents of vanilla, coconut, toasted oak, and mocha, complemented by underlying notes of bittersweet chocolate and roasted espresso.
Taste: Delivers prominent flavors of milk or dark chocolate truffle, espresso bean, and a smooth, warm bourbon backbone with touches of oak and caramel.
Mouthfeel: Medium-full bodied with a remarkably smooth, silky, and velvety texture derived from the generous use of oats, remaining deceptively easy-drinking for a high-ABV barrel beer.
