This special release spent 23 months maturing in freshly emptied 12-year Wild Turkey bourbon barrels, allowing the massive imperial stout to absorb layers of bourbon, charred American oak, vanilla, and dark caramel before being conditioned on an indulgent blend of chocolate sandwich cookies, toasted coconut, and vanilla.
The aroma is bursting with freshly baked chocolate cookies, bourbon fudge, toasted coconut, and vanilla cream filling. A luxuriously rich body delivers waves of bittersweet cocoa, creamy vanilla, caramelized sugar, and cookie crumble, while nearly two years in exceptional bourbon barrels weave in notes of toasted oak, toffee, baking spice, and warming Kentucky bourbon.
The finish is impossibly long, balancing decadent pastry sweetness with refined barrel character that lingers long after the final sip.
