Allagash Coolship Resurgum 2013 is a brilliant showcase of traditional Belgian-inspired brewing and Allagash Brewing Company’s dedication to craftsmanship. This spontaneously fermented ale is created using the centuries-old method of cooling wort in an open-air “coolship,” allowing native wild yeast and bacteria to shape its character &mdash a rare and authentic approach that results in exceptional complexity and depth. The 2013 vintage pours a radiant golden hue with a lively, effervescent head. Aromas of lemon zest, green apple, and hay intertwine with delicate funk and a hint of oak.
