Lagered for two months, this Baltic Porter was fermented low and slow with a German lager strain and piled high with characterful malts. The Awakening Place erupts with aromas of chocolate-covered raisins, toasted barley, and subtle roast. Each sip brings waves of deeply complex malt character of roasted nuts, caramel, and light roast coffee, along with dark fruit flavors of fig and raisin. A medium-full body and warming finish makes this a great fireside sippe
