Description
When Brandon came to visit almost a year ago we added an Imperial Stout to select Buffalo Trace barrels. While he was here, he told us about one of his favorite coffees from home in Richmond, VA; a Swiss Chocolate Almond roast that he loves drinking and the idea for Swiss Bliss came to light. 11 months later we chose, and for the first time at EQ, blended three barrels before treating the beer with Rostov's Coffee Swiss Chocolate Almond Coffee, Almonds, and Marshmallow. The result is a beautifully decadent brownie stout laced with a rich nutty flavor from the almonds and a slightly sweet magical marshmallow finish with just enough coffee to cut through any sweetness. The barrel characteristic offers a beautiful caramel finish and this beer drinks like a bowl of rocky road ice cream.
