One can of 2026 Half Acre Worried About The Wolf 16.4% ABV, Untappd 4.56. “Worried About The Wolf opens Stout Season somewhere off the marked trail. A cuvée pulls separate beers, vintages, and barrels into one expression, and this one divides the work evenly: 30-month Orin from a Russell’s Reserve 10yr barrel; Double Barrel 40P stout aged 15 months in Blanton’s 10yr, then another 15 months in Willett 4yr; and young Benthic, seven months into a Willett Family Estate 12yr barrel. Old beer, young beer, dry beer, enormous stout. We emptied them together, gave the tank a whisper of carbonation and left everything else alone. No adjuncts.”
One can of 2022 Half Acre Double Barrel Benthic 2x4 14.2% ABV, Untappd 4.65. “2 x Dark Matter Catuai (washed, Guatemalan) whole bean coffee and 4 x hand-toasted coconut. This recipe is a blend of the following select barrels: Elijah Craig bourbon aged 9 months, Willet bourbon aged 9 months, Eagle Rare bourbon aged 10 months, Woodford Reserve bourbon aged 10 months, Woodford Double Oaked aged 16 months, Bardstown bourbon aged 16 months and Pinhook bourbon aged 16 months.”
