Description
Distilled in Kentucky from a mash of 72% corn, 13% rye, and 15% malted barley, this barrel of bourbon was initially matured for five years and five months in char #3 new American oak. It was then finished for two years (!) in a second (custom made for Hirsch by the Independent Stave Company) char #1 oak barrel featuring wood that had been seasoned for 24 months before being toasted and given a very light char. After finishing, the whiskey was bottled without chill filtration at a barrel proof of 117. Shipping included. PayPal ff please.
