500 (19.4 abv) Triple Barrel Aged Imperial Stout.
This imperial stout was first aged in a single Weller 7-year bourbon barrel for 20 months, then moved into a Buffalo Trace 4-year barrel for 11 months, then finally into an Elijah Crag 23-year bourbon barrel for 15 more months. In our final barrel tastings of this beer, we believed it exemplified all the qualities we love most in a well-aged and exceptionally spirit-forward stout, and that it deserved to be presented without the addition of adjuncts.
