For sale are 4 of the most recent Double Barrel goodies from one of the top barrel producers of the country.
Double Barrel Straight Jacket: This blend of English-style Barleywines was aged between 18-24 months in a variety of premium bourbon barrels before being finished in freshly-dumped Eagle Rare casks. A slightly fortified malt structure provides just enough sweet lift on the palate to accommodate the added lumber and spirit, without stealing the show. UT: 4.67
Peach Brandy Barrel D.B.V.S.O.J.: We are pleased to bring you Peach Brandy Barrel D.B.V.S.O.J., an insane barleywine blend aged in bourbon, rum, and peach brandy barrels. A beautiful cuvée that spans three years of barrel-aging, marrying young and old components for a harmonious balance of bready and fruity malt expressions. Quite the peach, if we do say so ourselves. UT 4.55
Double Barrel V.S.O.D. (2023): Occupying the epicenter of patience, refinement, and extremity, Double Barrel Very Special Old Deth is a foreboding incantation of swirling malt, spirit, and oak concentrated over several years in our most prized bourbon barrels. Cocoa, vanilla, and stone fruit emanate from the glass, with each decadent sip punctuated by American oak and warming alcohol. UT: 4.61
Double Barrel V.S.O.R.: Blended from the oldest, most prized barrels of Ryewine in our cellars – then finished in French-oak-augmented American whiskey barrels– this well-oaked machine is a tower of texture with ribbons of spicy rye malt interwound with cherry, vanilla, caramel, and maple accents. UT: 4.57
All cans are original owner, stored at 55 degrees.
