One(1) Bottle of Side Project's La Coterie Exclusive Derivation Blend #17 375ml
Derivation Blend #17 is a blend of Willett Bourbon and VSOP Cognac barrel aged O.W.K. and Vibes recipes which matured from 24 to 40 months in these barrels. The final blend was then finished on vanilla beans from Sri Lanka and Tanzania.
For years, we have treated our use of vanilla beans like IPA brewers treat their hops. Finding perfect blends, complementary pairings, and transformative expressions from different varietals and our uses for them. The vanilla is explosively aromatic, with a nutmeg/eggnog warmth and a deep, round, lasting bourbon complexity, D17 is lovely and I am glad you can enjoy it at home.
Please remember that this beer is fantastic right now, and as I believe it will age gracefully, the vanilla will never be more impressive than it is right now. Store properly if you plan to age.
