(Lager, 5%, 16oz) We've had a wish list of ideas ever since we broke ground on our roastery, and we're slowly knocking them off and giving them the care they deserve.

We set out to craft a refreshing lager with notes of classic roasted coffee alongside bright tropical fruits from our favorite beans. It's a stimulating experience to have these two profiles meet under the same roof; the profiles stand alone while complementing each other beautifully. Let's get into it.

A ton of a clean malt bill, a delicate blend of Citra, Cascade, and Huell melon hops brings forth notes of citrus, earthy pine, and honeydew melon. Our coffee department then roasted and ground an Ethiopian heirloom varietal from Yirgacheffe at the Danche Washing Station. Underneath a delicate layer of roast, these beans deliver bright citrus fruit character, lively acidity, and floral undertones. Off the Grounds' zippy body and soft toastiness present as parallel notes before converging within its wholly unique fruity profile.

If you are expecting an overt coffee flavor in this beer, you aren't going to get it; instead, you'll enjoy a labor of love that expresses the original character of a remarkable bean in a delicate and thoughtfully integrated way.
