The nose is absolutely glorious and loaded with sweet oak, ripe berries, creme brulee, vanilla and hints of leather and tobacco. There's always something about this release, that when nosing, transports you directly to a rickhouse of aging bourbon. The palate is very full bodied with more sweet toasted oak, dark dried fruit, baking spice and hints of chocolate and coffee. The finish is warming and long with notes of marshmallow, caramel and more sweet spices.
