Description
King’s Family Distillery is a craft whiskey distillery in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. They were founded in 2018 by couple Justin and Cara King. Justin and Cara have more than a decade of experience in the whiskey industry. Justin comes from a moonshine and distilling background and Cara’s family owns a grain firm that she was involved in for many years.
TASTE
This 95% rye / 5% malted barley whiskey is at least 6 years old and was re-barreled three times hence the “thrice barreled”. The first and second barrels are new charred white oak, and the third is a six-hour char with a flash toast.
Holly’s Tasting Notes: Coconut, vanilla, and dill. Quite fruity, confectionary fruity though, like fruit loops, wildflower honey, and cinnamon spice. Free shipping!!!
