2019 Firestone Walker Molé Merkin is a limited-release milk stout with 7.8% ABV that is aged in bourbon barrels and inspired by traditional Mexican molé.
Key Ingredients Dried Puya Chili: Adds mild, earthy heat and dark berry fruit flavors. Cocoa Nibs: Sourced from the Dominican Republic to balance the pepper spice. Cinnamon: Brings a warm, traditional baking spice aroma.
Taste and Appearance Appearance: Opaque, jet-black body with a dark tan head.
Aroma: Rich chocolate, sweet cinnamon, and subtle chili powder.
Flavor: Smooth chocolate milk sweetness upfront with a gentle, warming pepper finish on the back end.
Mouthfeel: Heavy and creamy, yet very easy to drink.
