1902 Bass King's Ale
"King's Ale is a strong ale brewed in 1902. Contrary to popular opinion, this had nothing to do with the 1902 coronation. The newly crowned King Edward VII visited the Brewery in February and started the mash, and the beer was then stored in cask to mature. The equivalent of about 400 casks of 36 gallons were brewed. A 750ml bottle of Barclay’s Russian Imperial Stout dating from 1947 / 1948In excellent condition with just a little label damage. It will be supplied with its original straw protector, and, if wanted I will supply the original (but incomplete) wooden crate FREE OF CHARGE (see last two photographs). 550ml bottle of 1997 Fuller's Vintage Ale in lovely, unopened condition.This was the first year that Fuller's released this beer, and it was in lower volumes than subsequent years, and hence harder to find.
