Selling My Collection! Saison Lot #1

I am selling my collectible bottle collection, starting with sets of saisons that I think represent the style well. All bottles have been cellar stored.

I will include a brewery description of the Canadian bottles using Google translate in any lots containing these bottles.  They are not as common in collectible circles, but I collected these bottles specifically over time. I think you will be very happy with them.

Packages will be sent out using FedEx ground for $30. I will typically ship on Monday for a West-Coast package so it does not sit over a weekend.

This mixed-fermentation saison base aged for almost a year in white wine barrels before refermenting in vats with Marquette and Maréchal Foch grape marc from our neighboring winemaker, Négondos, in Saint-Hermas.

Indeed, at the end of last summer, we took advantage of their harvest to collect over 100 kilos of juicy marc directly from their press.

This beer then spent a long time refermenting before we decided to make two versions of this exquisite beer-wine hybrid. The first, Vino Vino, is a carbonated version that brings it closer to the hybrid beers and mixed-fermentation saisons. The presence of grapes adds a rich texture reminiscent of red wine, while the acidity, supported by carbonation, provides a nice balance while maintaining a pleasant drinkability. With refermentation, the fruity esters of the grape evolved into notes of dark, wild berries that coexist wonderfully with a sweet scent of brettanomyces.

Not trying to make a lot on these bottles, so grab them quickly if you're interested!  Don't see them lasting too long.  Enjoy!
