Barleywine-style Ale Aged in Bourbon Barrel and Cognac Barrel

Brewed in February of 2019 and rested for nearly two years in specially selected 12-year Bourbon barrels, the beer found a second stay in freshly emptied Cognac barrels for eighteen additional months. After four years of considered shepherding, his namesake barleywine-style ale has achieved unique harmony, refinement, and complexity. Aaron A. Hill (1785-1869) operated the original tavern in North Greensboro upon whose original sign the Hill Farmstead Brewery logo is based.
