De Struise Pannepot Special Reserva is a 10% ABV Belgian Strong Dark Ale (often called an Old Fisherman's Ale) that is aged for several years in oak barrels, typically French Bordeaux wine or port casks. Sold in a 330mL (33 cL) bottle, this special vintage release transforms the famous base Pannepot into a deeply complex, wine-forward experience.

Appearance and Aroma Color: Pours a deep, dark brown to rich burgundy hue with minimal to sparse khaki foam.
Aroma: Features strong vinous notes resembling an oakey red wine, toasted grains, and concentrated dark dried fruits like raisins, prunes, figs, and dates.
Taste and Mouthfeel Flavor Profile: Offers a malt-dominant core of brown sugar, molasses, and caramel that transitions into a rich medley of plum, red grape, and mulled wine spices.
Finish: Provides a drying sensation from oak tannins and a warm, brandy-like alcohol presence that masks its heavy 10% ABV.
