A marriage of both worlds, old world classic BA stout with the Willett barrel melding with the higher perceived sweetness of the Elijah Craig barrel creating a complexity of barrel and bourbon and base stout and chocolate and vanilla. Where one blend slides the other one is there to pick the other up. It doesn’t taste like a 10.5% stout, it comes at you with some heat but at the end of the day, this is relatively low abv in the world of barrel aged stouts.
