Packaged 20190827 (750ml)
In our continued exploration of Farmstead® ales within various contexts and processes, we present a new beer:
a lively, delicately tart, oak-aged ale with a malt bill comprised of 90% wheat and 10% barley, and hopped exclusively with hand-selected Hallertauer Blanc hops from Seitz Farm—our agricultural partner in Wolnzach, Germany. Brewed in June 2018 and aged in wine barrels for over fourteen months, this has bottle conditioned since summer of 2019. We closely monitored its progress, anticipating its optimistic arc of development, and now offer this as a representation of the qualities we hold dear.
Barrel Aged Brother Soigne 2019 750
This ale embodies the spirit of perpetual creative collaboration in conjunction with disciplined brewing endeavor. Long ago, our friend Luc traveled from Japan to brew with us this ale of mixed fermentation. This version of Soigné has been aged in gin barrels from nearby Caledonia Spirits.
Phemenology of Spirit 2018
A dark Farmstead® ale aged for more than 8 months in oak barrels. The final blend is composed of Spirit aged in red wine barrels as well as bourbon barrels that had formerly been used to age our maple imperial stout.
