Brewery Description:
Michel Foucault’s The Order of Things explores truth, temporal contextualization, and epistemic assumptions and provides the impetus with which we recognize the necessity for conscious examination of knowledge. In that spirit, we offer a collection that features unique blends of double residency stouts and porters, barrel-aged and thoughtfully woven together with an optimistic projection of a layered, novel, complex result.
This tryptic assembly of our fourth of the sequence is composed of Genealogy of Morals that enjoyed 18 months in Bourbon barrels and was then divided into a Saxon’s River Distillery Sapling Honey Bourbon barrel and a Saxon’s River Distillery Sapling Maple Liqueur barrel for nine months each, and a single barrel of Damon rested first in Bourbon barrels for 34 months then secondarily in an Elijah Craig 18-Year barrel for an additional six months. The curated blend was then conditioned atop a blend of vanilla beans from Ecuador, Madagascar, Tahiti, and Papua New Guinea.
Bottling Date: March 29, 2023
In my opinion this is the best offering of the Order of Things series.
I am the original owner of the bottle, which was purchased at the brewery. It has been cellar stored since purchase. Please take a look at my other auctions as I am happy to combine shipping.
