Imperial Stout aged in Elijah Craig 14-year barrels
Imperial Stout aged 19 months in Elijah Craig 14-year barrels
In selecting this latest Duplexity we had five “same beer same barrel“ options to choose from, so we really got to be picky about which two barrels made the cut. We arrived at this particular blend after a few rounds of tasting, choosing to highlight some big toffee notes, a bit of dark fruit and licorice, and above all, a smooth and rich bourbon finish which does justice to the outstanding barrels the beer spent nearly two years in.
This beer has been stored in a dedicated beer fridge since its release date.
