1 x 500 ml Bottle of Tree House -- Sept 2026
(Barleywine Ale, 16.6%, 12oz) The bottle you are holding has taken a circuitous route through our barrel cellar, each stop along its journey building a rich and complex profile.
Take the Long Way is a Blonde Barleywine that rested for two and a half years in select bourbon barrels before being transferred to peach liqueur and Banyuls casks for an additional six months. We then added a secondary thread of Barleywine aged in our House Kola and bourbon casks before conditioning the resulting blend on Tahitian vanilla beans. We taste notes of honey graham crackers, toffee-drizzled blondies, vanilla peach caramels, and hints of dried cherries and pipe tobacco.
When you know where you're headed, an extra leg of the journey adds to the stories we tell.
