One of our favorite releases. An underdog in our barrel-aged beers. Built from a blend of specialty malts that bring notes of toasty biscuits, roasted nuts, and subtle cocoa powder that we let age in Old Elk Bourbon barrels for 30 months. The lengthy time in casks developed a rich malty character. Charred American oak add layers of depth, balancing the toasty, sweeter elements of the base brown ale with subtle savory notes and notes of vanilla. This one doesn’t come along too often, but we love when it does. We hope you enjoy the 2025 vintage of this beautiful beer.
