This blend of Barleywine was rested between 48 and 54 months in the same VSOP Cognac barrels that housed batch #1 of Naturally Aspirated and a freshly emptied barrel of Blanton's Bourbon. Foregoing the forced induction of intrusive adjuncts, its raw power if solely derived from the confluence of wood and time. Nearly a decade in the making, it presents an ethereal labyrinth of dark fruit, marzipan, creamy oak, treacle and orange brandy liqueur that rewards patient contemplation with a singularly memorable sipping experience.
