Developed within the @freestylehops breeding program in Nelson Lakes, Manilita emerged from a pursuit less concerned with brute-force intensity and more focused on nuance, saturation, and aromatic texture. This IPA was designed as a single-origin study of the hop in its purest form — no supporting cast, no blending, no distraction. A pale haze carries aromatics of Juicy Fruit gum, jackfruit, paw paw and mango nectar, while the palate opens into pulpy citrus, soft tropical fruit, and a delicate suggestion of creamsicle and fresh-cut nectarine. Low bitterness and a velvety body allow Manilita’s uncommon aromatic detail to unfold gradually, revealing something different with each return to the glass.
