The name Vigneronne Cantillon was given in 1987. This name reminds us that, while it belongs to the beer patrimony, the spontaneous fermentation, the ageing in the barrels for several years and the addition of grapes make it a distant cousin of certain white wines. In spite of its success, the Vigneronne represents less than 5% of the total production of the Cantillon brewery. A blend of Lambics brewed on November 30th and December 6th, 2016, aged in Cognac barrels, and subsequently bottled in 2020.This unique blend is the result of a collaboration between Brasserie Cantillon and Cognac Grosperrin.

2020 version - Season 19/20 Bottling date: 17 June 2020Blend of rhubarb with one and two year-old LambicOne tank of rhubarb lambic transferred into a recently emptied raspberry lambic tank before bottling.Beer with a tangy and fruity taste. A slight astringency accentuates its subtlety and its end note. Long conservation beer, with an evolving taste.
