(Double IPA, 7.8%, 16oz) Pouring a vibrant yellow color with a drift of white foam above the glass, Snowliage presents with tropical notes that jump from its frothy head. Citra and Zumo hops bring notes of grapefruit juice and bright lime, while an experimental variety, cryptically named 24B-05, bursts with the flavors of watermelon bubblegum and raspberry soda. We sort our lives into rigid boxes, forcing amorphous things to fit. We rush through whole weeks until they evaporate, losing the quiet transitions between past and future. The sweetness lives in the blur and in knowing where you’re going while the dock is still in sight.
