Drink of the Gods contains threads from several batches of Nascent Truth aged six months to a year. All batches were aged directly in the barrel with a blend of chipotle, ancho, and habanero peppers. Following its time in the barrel, it was conditioned once again on coffee, cinnamon, vanilla beans, sea salt, and finally Amburana wood&mdashknown for imparting a variety of delicious aromas and flavors. Pouring like chocolate syrup into your glass, it contains warming notes from the pepper balanced by a decadent bourbon chocolate character. As it warms in your glass, ephemeral notes of cinnamon and vanilla are revealed in harmony with the rest of the beer.
