Description
Here's a Pips Mead starter kit!
I am selling a set of mead bottles that I purchased myself at Pips in Gurnee. All bottles have been stored properly since purchase. I believe the starting price for this auction is less than the actual cost I paid for the bottles including tax, so not looking to make a lot on these. If you have not had Pips in the past, it is one of the top meaderys in the country and these selections in my opinion are very nice.
Pips does not have lengthy descriptions of these meads (except for Prescience for some reason), but below is a list of them, their Untappd rating, and a short description:
Banana Pancake - 4.74 Untappd rating - Banana mead with natural flavors aged in bourbon barrels
Prescience = 4.50 Untappd rating - Prescience is a 12.5% Yumberry Mead made with Orange Blossom Honey. Yumberries are originally known as the Chinese Bayberry. Crimson in color with a bright acidity reminiscent of pomegranates, we wanted to let this one lean on the more acidic side of balance to let those unique flavors show. This mead showcases the deep seediness of Raspberries while a cranberry/pomegranate fruit profile lingers into the finish. Viscous, rich, and an explosion of fruit from end to end...
