We’ve been to so many hop farms, selected thousands of lots, and had so many blending sessions on the brew deck, we start to forget if hops smell like fruit or if fruit smells like hops. There’s nothing quite like that spray from a citrus peel that widens our eyes and makes us a little woozy from the juicy aroma. This recipe chases that electric surge of fresh citrus and represents the zesty side of hops! Zesty is a crisp lager that pours a brilliant straw color with lacing galore. Built upon a simple and clean malt bill, a blend of American and New Zealand hops bursts from its natural carbonation. Motueka and Zumo hops conjure aromas of fresh-zested Makrut limes, bright Buddha’s hand, fresh lemongrass, and sweet Meyer lemon juice. Keep cold, drink fresh, and enjoy the zest!
