The Firestone Walker XXIII (23rd) Anniversary Ale (2019) is an 11.5% ABV American Strong Ale created in collaboration with local Paso Robles winemakers through a blind-tasting team blending competition.

Blend Components
Stickee Monkee (28%) – Central Coast quad-style ale aged in bourbon barrels.
Parabola (28%) – Russian imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels.
Bravo (20%) – Imperial brown ale aged in bourbon barrels.
Bourbon Barrel Helldorado (15%) – Blonde barleywine aged in bourbon barrels.
Velvet Merkin (5%–9%) – Oatmeal stout aged in bourbon barrels.
Tequila Barrel Helldorado (4%) – Blonde barleywine aged in tequila barrels.

Profile & Characteristics Appearance: Deep, opaque dark brown with garnet highlights and a creamy tan head.

Aroma: Rich roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee, molasses, and dark fruits like plum, fig, and raisin, layered with distinct bourbon, oak, vanilla, and subtle leather notes.

Flavor: Complex and well-integrated, mirroring the nose with a sweet, sticky, medium-full body, balancing intense dark fruit and robust barrel-aging characteristics without an overly hot alcohol finish.
